Bye Bye Stockholm

It's time to say goodbye to Stockholm for a while,
we'll be back around March with new energy !

Can't really write now I'm so excited that my hands are shaking ! :)

Update more when we're down in Skåne, we are staying there for 10 days
and then we're off to AUSTRALIA!

Presents

We are leaving Stockholm tomorrow,
and Chris worked his last day at work today
and my last day is tomorrow!
Tonight we'll clean everything in the apartment
and then fix everything so we can leave
tomorrow afternoon.

Last things to fix in Stockholm is the SWEDISH
presents that we'll bring to Australia!
I'm almost ready with that, just
a couple of more things to buy.

The most popular Swedish present to bring abroad ?
Dalahäst ! No I will not buy this, promise :)

Moving Boxes

Our apartment is full of boxes right now.

We are packing and throwing a lot of junk aswell.
Everything is to be removed from our apartment
into a storage room.
4 days left until we're leaving Stockholm...
Better hurry up!

Spa weekend

The best cousin in the world arrived to a rainy and dark Stockholm
late friday night for a weekend full of healthy vibes.

Our spa weekend was wonderful and we have so much new energy!
High quality weekend if you ask us!

Frida is studying at Gilda skolan in Gothenburg to become a skin therapist.

Rainy and cold over here

Brrrr...it's gettin colder and colder in Sweden.
Todays temp. is +8 C.
Time for winterjackets, gloves and beanies......but not for us.
All the winter clothes is packed down in boxes.
Feels pretty nice !

Not long until it will look like this in Stockholm.

Our dogs

Wonder if Emirates staff cares if we bring our dogs to
Australia ?
How can we be without our sweethearts for so long ??

Thanks to a brilliant family it's much easier for us. 
Chester and Otis will stay in Sweden and celebrate a white 
and snowy Christmas.

They will be in very good hands!

Okey, the big news...tadaaaa

Chris got his Swedish visa !

It's not even two weeks until we're leaving Stockholm

for our big adventure..

Bye Bye Stockholm....

Waiting...waiting..still waiting

We are waiting for the migration officer to reply and give
us the answer if Chris got his Swedish Visa (partner visa, residence permit ) or not.
It takes long time from start to finish and I'm watching my inbox around 10 times
a day just to see if he sent any decision to us.
We went to the migration office in Solna to have our interview
with Milot, our contact person at Migrationsverket. 
The questions where about things in our apartment, our relationship,
family and our plans for the future.

some examples :

* What colour is your bed sheets ?
* What colour is your vacuum cleaner ?
* Tell me about Chris's / Ida's family ?
* What colour and brand is your car ?
* How did you get here today ?
* Who's cooking the food at home ?
* What are you going to do today after this meeting ?
* Which bank are you using ?
* What's the location of your grocery store  ?

Chris's answer on the last one was :
-Coop Forum, Vast...West...Vest
aah don't remember the name it's where the helicopter robbery was..hehe.
- Haha okey you mean Vastberga, yeah it became quite famous now.


Love Love Love! Sometimes very complicated when your partner is from
the other side of the world...

Hopefully we'll have the answer very soon! 

Queensland Australia

Love this commercial! It's a paradise.
We will go for a holiday to Queensland , can't miss out on that.
No No No!

I'm gonna do my best to update a lot when we're Down Under, much better than
my updates right now that's for sure.

Tickets to Australia !

Finally....
Our tickets is booked and were flying to Australia with Emirates Airlines !
(once again )  Yehooooo....
Our "frequent flyer" points is building up, great.  :)

So our route is

Copenhagen - London

London - Dubai

Dubai - Melbourne

We will probably stay a couple of nights in Dubai on our way back to Sweden.
And it's one month exactly tomorrow until our departure from Copenhagen.

One million things...

Only 1 short month until it's time to travel all the way to Australia
once again, too long time has passed since I was there last and
to know that in only a short while we'll be standing there again
at Melbourne airport, well it's just unbelievable.

We are both very busy at this time, with work, school,
and all those one million things that need to be fixed before
our departure.
In all this stress their is a wonderful feeling, a feeling of uncontrollable
happiness with a small touch of positive nervousness.
